The Reluctant Emissary The Annunak Series TM Toombs Books Reviews
Amazing sci-fi story by a very talented author! I can't wait to read her next book in the series!!
One of those works that it's tough to write a review for. I really liked the story idea, I even liked the direction it all went but,,, no court would act the way this one did and there were too many times the main characters actions made no sense.
A good first publication and I hope the author continues his efforts with new works. I look forward to reading them.
This was a very engrossing and well written tale. What a great first outing for TM Toombs. This book grabs you from the very beginning, and refuses to let go until the end. I can't wait to read the next adventures of Eshan and the Annunak!
While science fiction is not always my first choice, I really enjoyed this futuristic story and am looking forward to the next book in the series. TM Toombs created interesting characters who speak/act in comfortable, relatable ways. I highly recommend this new series.
Interesting story line, well written, Good light reading, I look forward to the follow on. Will be watching for it.
A great new entry into the sci fi genre! Our hero Eshan is relatable and engaging. A light summer read for those who are looking for an alien invasion tale with a twist.
I breezed through this book quickly, and was pleasantly surprised by the steady flow, and no nonsense approach the author brought to the book. My only negative was I felt some areas could have been expanded deeper. The plot almost happened too fast for my usual liking, but it was a very solid debut novel, and I look forward to reading the sequel when it comes out!
